Doing resist doesn't necessarily make one a failure, unless they've done really bad in other exams.

I am resitting maths in November not because I failed but because I got sick and admitted to hospital. Did I fail by collecting germs all around us?
Don't be so quick to judge why people are resitting things.

That's not a nice claim to make when there could be several reasons as to why one had resits to do! And if you got onto the course, it clearly means that you have the abilities to do well on it; mistakes in life happen and life doesn't always go the way we want it to.
4 different subdivisions of Maths. Basically I coasted through first year on a high 2:1 by going out every night, attending just over half of the lectures and doing 2 hours revision the night before the exam, and thought I could continue at this pace in second year. Needless to say I ****ed up semester one and failed everything, then returned to good grades in semester 2 by working a lot harder, so now I have to repeat all the semester 1 exams :smile:
OP, how many exams do you have and what course do you do?

I'm sure you'll be just fine. Keep at it!!

I do maths, there are 4 exams, I'm working hard and feeling pretty good, just hate myself for not trying hard enough the first time

Oh right. Good luck on the exams :h: Don't lose motivation to revise just yet :tongue: Get off tsr, put away your distractions and do short bursts of revision (so you don't lose concentration while revising) and have breaks and eat well :smile:
