I will also be in Kings. Be my neighbour and pay my rent.

Oh! Stay at my place anytime if we happen to be friends somehow.

Hahahaha.... I am sure that during his first semester, he will spend most of his time in calculating Pakistani rupees to pounds exchange rate

Lol do you expect us to be that naive ? Don't worry! My father has been calculating it for many years.

Dude 99% of Westerner's are spoilt including yourself. Tell me what proportion of African children get the education and opportunities you have been given. What have you done ahead of them to deserve such educational opportunities? Wealth is a spectrum and everyone falls on the spectrum somewhere. I see no point in judging those who happen to have fallen further up on the spectrum than you, when you have fallen onto the higher part of the spectrum than many others.

Thiissss.

Means I have to stay in the people of the same background only ? Other students don't tend to accept me anyways.

Yaara what are you trying to prove? I am sure you belong to Lahore defence breed. My late grandfather's house (now the registry is on my name) is in H block gulberg II which is more than double DHA Y block. Here in UK major portion of overall population doesn't care what car you have, if I am poor and I see your BMW then instead of hating you, I will work hard so that one day I can buy the same car with my own hard earned money otherwise I will buy national lottery

Maybe because in Pakistan people from less well off backgrounds dont get to go to Uni? I imagine poor people in Pakistan dont feel that great when they see you driving round in your BMW while they sift throiugh rubbish to make a living...

They also go to uni. Who said you poor here do not study. There are alot of public schools and unis but I have not been around them since my school mostly had students from well off backgrounds.

So that means your father is a naive as he is collecting every penny for you to spend in London, LOL.

Well there qe go then. I imagine the UK is no dofferent to Pakistan in that respect. Public boarding schoolers here have the same experience you will.

Haha blackouts aren't for us. We have personal electricity generators here.(I was forced to be a prig now).
P.s I was sleeping.

Sleeping while fasting, BRAVO!! (or perhaps not fasting at all)

:getmecoat:

Plus in UK, a sensible uni going student doesn't make an exhibition of his father's wealth

You wouldnt think that at Bristol -_-

Your parents are buying you a flat.

Lots of us are paying £9000 a year out of a loan, then, in my case £7,500 in loans and grants and probably a job just to pay rent and bills and get by.

When I leave University, I won't have a house or a flat, I'll be massively in debt, but have the skills to, in probably 3-4 year have myself comfortable in life.

When you leave University, you have a flat, you don't have bills, and you have a degree.

Why do I think students with lots of money are not like me, because you aren't. You have everything given to you on a silver plate.

We don't have a huge upper hand because we speak English, you chose to come to England, that's the norm, I wouldn't consider myself disadvantaged if I went to Holland for Uni, because I'd learn Dutch before I went as soon as I started planning to go there.

Why do people think your spoilt, because, without trying to be offensive, you are. Having your parents buy you a Mac and a flat makes you spoilt.

http://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/spoilt

Definition two, you've never had to work for anything.

Sorry if its blunt, but you asked the question

This. I also think this kind of parenting is vulgar. Sure, that's not your fault. But the point is that it reflects badly on your character even when you insist you are "down to earth" and "don't brag".

Also, the fact you cannot even see that you would be separating yourself from other students and recognising yourself as having some sort of superiority by having your own flat as opposed to joining other students in halls. And having a car in London when everyone else will sensibly use public transport even if they do have their own cars at home.

"though have visited UK many times as u would expect from a rich int student ;-)". Vulgar. Vulgar. Vulgar. Unnecessary, too. What was the point of adding the "as you would expect from a rich international student ".

Have you ever travelled to the northern area of your own city "Lahore". People of that area can't afford to cook food for three times a day, and according to you yet they go to LUMS to taste uni education. LOL

So that you may have a chance to break your virginity

haha talk about a student of first year mate.

I was in my first year, admittedly I only got one car from my father, my mother got the other one and I paid for the moto without either's consent. Still got a house and everything else in first year and have been sustained until a year ago when I started my own business.

You'll be chump change in London. Trust me.

Fasting and sleeping. Why ? Isn't one allowed to sleep if he is fasting??

Jealousy alert. I wouldn't think someone spoilt because they were wealthy, don'y be so ridiculous. Just because you don't have it doesn't mean you can be rude to others.

Its ok for them to be rude. It doesn't really bother me but what really bother me is the generalisation that I am getting. They think I am spoiled, am not practical, down to earth and cannot think like them. I don't wish to live in people who belong to well off background only, but this sort of thinking will not allow me to socialise with them anyways.

While fasting one is allowed to spend a day just like any other normal day. I am sure that you just eat & sleep.

BTW, you didn't answer to my any post because you don't have the balls to face the fact.
