Lucyanne1996, 'Business Studies', do you mean 'Management' at MBS? If so, have you chosen a specialism?
I currently hold an unconditional offer to study 'Bsc (Hons) Management (Marketing)' with AAA.

no sorry it's just business studies!

Awesome! We'll probably get to know each other very well since there's only 20 places on our course. :h:

Lol yeah it'll be great
Thinking I'll move in early and get accustomed to the city

Are you travelling very far? I already know Manchester pretty well as I live fairly close so I'm not sure how early I'll move in.

When exactly are you planning to move in? I'm coming from Sussex, so it's a long drive too, and I'd rather not get caught up in the freshers' traffic on the Saturday.

Hey, I hold an unconditional offer for Economics and I have applied to the Weston, Whitworth and Wright Robinson halls. Honestly hoping to get the en suite as a starter but really am fine with any for now. Well I've mostly checked up on what I should bring there myself and what I should be buying there instead of bringing over with me. Spent some time reading the guide book on opening bank account, accommodation fee payment methods and the orientation programmes. Unfortunately I don't know any of my friends who are going to Manchester University though. I'll be coming from Hong Kong, but I actually had my primary, secondary and college education in Singapore. It's gonna be a really long ride, but it will be an eye opener for me I feel, to see the world out there so yeah, quite excited too (:

Have any of you completed the application for the tier 4 student visa yet? (If you need one) Since it required my residential address in UK I am actually waiting for the office to inform me about the hall of accommodation they will place me in.

Hey! I have an unconditional offer for International Management and am going to be going from Hong Kong as well. Do you already have a set date for when you're leaving/arriving? I can't make up my mind on which date to leave yet.

But yeah, I got that PM too from that guy about the freshers week ahaha always trust your gut instinct with those

Is anyone else studying Biomed or staying at Victoria Hall? :3

Hey! I just got my accommodation offer for Victoria Hall today as well and hold an unconditional offer for International Management. Do you know which block you're going to be in?

Sheavyn House! When do you get your results? They'll let you know after you've got those.

I was thinking Friday or Saturday but I didn't think about the traffic situation on the sat... Might go on the 11th then, just don't wanna be up there with nothing to do!

I've got an unconditional offer for neuroscience..still haven't found anyone who will be doing the same course hahah

For housing, I got an offer for Canterbury Court and it wasn't even one of my choices. Anyone else with the same course/accommodation?

Hey, I also have an unconditional offer for Management (Marketing) 2014.
Have you received any information on the reading list?
Did you have a gap year, or are you a "UCAS GOD"?

In addition, when did you apply for halls? I applied in December and only yesterday I received my offer for 'Richmond Park' first choice.

Regards, Thomas.

No I haven't heard anything but my offer became unconditional yesterday (so I'm not a "UCAS GOD", I just got my results a week ago) which is probably why. What about you, gap year or God?
I think I applied in March but I'm not sure.
