Tea made out of milk? I knew people did coffee like that but not tea.

I love honey with tea, sweetens the tea and gives it a lovely flavour, whereas sugar only sweetens it.

Fresh mint and honey with tea is absolutely amazing (no milk, though). It works best if you brew green tea leaves in a tea pot rather than use teabags. It's something quite special.

As for the tea made out of milk: it's unconventional but it works fine, I do it when there's no condensed milk lying around. It's quite hard to the tea bags to infuse in the milk, so you have to 'work' them, so to speak.

Oooh, wrote that wrong... should be:
Teabag in, water in, leave it for a bit, milk in, teabag out, sugar in.

It's generally down to laziness really - so I can do all the later bits at once :lol:

I think it turns out fine, but that's just my taste.

It's the reason why the RSC (Royal Society of Chemistry) reckon the correct way to make tea is to brew it in a teapot and then pour it into a mug that already contains milk. That way the milk cools the water as it's added instead of being immersed in a large quantity of water when added the other way.

I did specify "in a mug" as 99% of students don't have a teapot so that option would not be good on a student forum.
(I have a teapot but i'm a rare case) :tongue:

That's slightly better as it has time to brew nicely.

But still, should try removing the teabag first in future then the milk. You won't regret it. :wink:
