Oh yeah, because black people are this homogenous group that think and feel collectively and identically about every single issue

Why black people in particular? Are we supposed to have some sort of connection to the conflict? I'm deeply sadden by it, not because I'm black, but because loads of people are being killed/injured for no real reason.

Tbh I don't feel any connection to it. I haven't really been following this news story in particular but I guess it is pretty saddening. But what has my being black have anything to do with it?

What I wrote to someone else that asked the same question.

"For the most part we have no connection.
Im only asking because some might feel sad and upset because there are black muslims and others might not care since arabs and black people historically have animosity and pure hatred towards each other"
Given that historically black people have been oppressed should clearly favour the palestinians

Black people are normally more aware of this sort of stuff as they come from countries that where victims of colonialism
What I've learned from this is don't direct a question directly at the black community .

why you mad tho
I think its just sad, I don't agree with either groups although I sympathise with the Palestinian civilians. I think a lot of people have formed opinions from what they see on social media and what they hear from other people. Very few people seem to actually understand the conflict. I think it is too complex to pick a side and I think many people who pick a side, don't actually pick because they understand the conflict but because they have a connection with either side e.g Muslim or Jewish or because they just want to support the underdog.

Well the israelis aren't exactly kind to black jews.
Look up some articles about the treatment of ethiopian jews in israel (spoiler: sterilisation is involved).

Yeah, the way Jews behave in Europe ("we love immigrants and should welcome diversity") and the way they behave in Israel ("get the goyim out of our country") couldn't be more different.
I don't like what Israel are doing, they don't value Palestinian lives, the death of civilians is not going to deter their operations. I don't speak on behalf of black people though

I'm not mad, I just think it was a bit of a stupid question.
