I was on UD and I found out that cuddling is only done lying down... I didn't know that... I thought cuddling was done standing up... I then read that cuddling isn't done on a coach/the back of a bed.
What does cuddling mean? I need to know if I've ever cuddled someone in my life.

I think people are mixing up cuddling and hugging.
Cuddling is an extended version of hugging. It's basically hugging for a long period of time, usually when lying or sitting down.
