I listen to some Spanish and Italian Songs. I originally did it to help me with languages but I actually really like them.
One of the best songs ever written, tbh:

I listen to a lot of French music!

Some of Coeur de Pirate's songs are pretty good, she's French Canadian.

Ooh forgot about her, can't remember how I found it but 'Wicked Games' is lovely

I have always wanted to learn German

I've done it since year 7 and just finished A-level, feels very odd to not be doing it anymore!

I had a German friend at school. Sadly he only taught me swear words lol
Yeah that's because some languages are actually prettier than english (not all though)

French for example

So... i can't be the only one who listens to music sung in a different language.

Apart from listening to music sung in English i also listen to music sung in French, German and Korean to name but a few. I don't speak french, German or Korean, but that doesn't bother me. I know for some it would though.

I know that some people like to understand what they are listening to but i'm more for the melody, pitch, tone etc. Lyrics don't really interest me. So that being said, who else listens to music in a different language?

Interested to hear your opinions.

I listen to K-Pop, J-Pop, J-Rock, Vocaloid... sometimes K-Rock and C-Pop but rarely.

So yeah, fair to say I listen to a lot of songs in different languages. Mainly Japanese and Korean. Big anime and K-Pop fan. :awesome: As you can see from the posts, you're not the only one for sure.

I know loads of people who say they can't listen to music in a different language if they can't understand it but I think that's just rubbish. For me it's also mainly about the actual musical element of the songs itself - don't really care about if I can understand it or not.

I like UKISS, but not really a huge fan. More into girl groups.

My current favourite K-Pop songs are B1A4's new song and f(x)'s comeback Red Light.

Cool, which songs do you like? I'm not a huge SNSD fan but I also like a few songs. I like Mr Mr, I Got a Boy and Gee.

Also like 2NE1 (huge blackjack) and Orange Caramel/After School if you've heard of them?

I'll be sure to check it out, I used to listen to SeoulFM to discover more K-Pop artists but haven't in a while.

Not going to lie, I was just an After School fan at first and never really got into Orange Caramel. But after watching NaNa on Roommate and they mentioned Catallena a lot I thought, why not check it out? Now I'm IN LOVE with that song and Orange Caramel, as well as listening to a lot more After School now too.
