Yes, several. I tend to find the girls are worse than the boys as it's always more personal. Boys are just silly on the whole but not malicious.

I am concerned about the well-being of children as much as anyone else. To be honest, people are trying to create a drama when it isn't there.

What made you decide to teach ?
I had an inspiring teacher at school. I realised it was the best way to apply my skills and my work ethic is, without meaning to be arrogant, quite exceptional.

No, not really. Children are too variable - one day they're an angel, and the next they're a terror. Even the good kids are too variable.

I don't find that surprising, the girls in my year often say bad things about male teachers. There was what looked like a glue stain on our Geography teacher's carpet and all of a sudden he was a chronic masturbator in his spare time!

Girls can be incredibly nasty and their mums can often be worse! Parent's evenings can be awful for the teacher!

I've had nasty rumours spread about me (I won't go into any detail as I'm paranoid that some of my students have TSR). They also try to use their period as an excuse to go to the toilet all the time - I'm sorry but you can't all be on your period at the same time and I swear you were all on it 10 days ago!!

Exactly, I used to say to my teachers, do you want me to piss here or in the toilet. They'd let me go. I never needed to go. :tongue:

The curriculum is what it is. I imagine teachers of most subjects have that issue. In maths, there is a lot of stuff not directly relevant. I don't dwell on it though.
