Why do teenagers send nude pictures?

We've all felt sexually aroused at some point in their lives but I didn't go sending pictures around.

I'll give you that but why has the media suddenly jumped on it?

You can't group boys like that. They can control their hormones, and it's not just boys pressuring girls into sending nude photographs.

Just because a man sees a girl walking down the street in shorts and a revealing top doesn't mean that he will instantly become aroused and want to get her to send naked photos of herself. It's the same principal with young boys in school. If they have such a strong desire to see girls/women who are naked, there are plenty of easily accessible images and videos online.

Also, when talking about peer pressure, I'm not talking about girls actively pressuring other girls into doing it. It may just be that a girl wants to 'fit in' with a certain crowd of people, and thinks that by sending pictures like that then they will. And it's not just girls doing this, it's boys too. They must feel a certain pressure to send pictures of their penises to girls (and maybe other boys), or they wouldn't do it either.

How would you know? You say it as though you've done it.

It's literally just the press of a button though isn't it? It's really easy. I've not sent nudes before but in the past I've gotten naked on webcam and done stuff on Chatroulette/Omegle. It's just teenage curiosity combined with being horny as hell.

If it's not boys pressuring girls into sending photos it must be girls doing it. Who pressured those girls in the first place? I think a boy? The man walking down the street probably glances over and makes an instant placement on his scale of hotness. We do with cute guys so boys definitely do it. Porn is only there to fuel male needs. I asked my friend and he said boys think about a girl they like and imagine things whilst doing certain things. You can guess what.

Do you think there's a difference between both. A boy might send a pic wanting to show off, act cool, be a lad or whatever but a girl does it to fit in as you said or because she needs approval. For boys its about the fun of it but for girls it turns into humiliation and cruelty.

I don't think that there necessarily is a difference in the way that boys and girls view it. Boys sending it to 'be a lad' is most likely due to peer pressure, and I have seen male 'dick pics' which have been humiliating for them, and spread round the school (this was 5 years ago). On the other hand, I have never known this happen to a girl, not that it doesn't.

I do not think that there is much wrong with pictures like these being sent between two people in a committed relationship, as that is what some people enjoy doing. However, once those photos are sent, you have effectively lost control of them and there is nothing to stop either party spreading them to other people.

I'm sure that sometimes it's the girls pressuring the boys, as well as the other way around.

I've never met anyone who has done this before. I've never received one nor sent one. I must be living in a small-town, sheltered world. Weirdos do that on Omeagle pmsl.

A friend of mine has done this and when i asked her why she told me that she thought the boy would stop liking her if she didn't, she basically did it because she thought it would impress him.
