wats funny is i was going to ask u the exact same question but didnt cause some people seem a bit reluctant to answer lol.
but no im not somali but i have quite a few somali friends although they are all from somaliland. i did have friends from somalia but we've fallen out 1 by 1 for one reason or another. mainly issues they have with my afro-caribbean friends or falling out with me cause i wouldnt convert to islam. but my somaliland friends have never had an issue with my afro-carib friends or tried to pressure me into converting islam so we're all still cool. it might just be coincidence but they seem way more laid back than somalia somalis.

I was joking about the mixed race kind of thing in case that wasn't obvious. That's sad. They stopped being friends with you because you wouldn't convert? That's quite petty and don't seem to be very good friends. It shouldn't matter where you're from and it holds little significance. It's quite silly really.
