1. A person can work from 16 so go figure.

2. She has a partner so additional person who can also work

3. There are help available for student parents.

Hows your vagina? Serious question :colonhash:

Just curious how a younger womans hoo hah deals with it.

Childbirth IS sexual as it's got to do with reproduction.

Everything living is sexual for God's sake.

so really, having a baby when you're that old is just an invitation to welfare.

I take it you skipped the whole work bit

Also I may have missed it in this thread but how do we know if her partner is financially stable?

1) work *while on* welfare seemed like what you were implying...
2) she's not working either way so when this 20 something guy bails then she's going to become "that woman" who lives off of the backs of others because instead of getting qualifications when she could (e.g. 20~) she has to stay at home
3) if he's allowing this girl to have a child with him at 20 he can't be the sharpest tool in the shed

Did the child inherit her father's male model genes or your average genes?

Please respond op.

Actually I said one can work from 16. Nowhere does it say welfare. And she gets the same help for student finance when she goes to uni plus help from university unions for childcare etc.

How do you know he's gonna bail? Don't generalise men.

As for your final point, I don't even begin to see where you're coming from. Lots of 20 year olds have stable families. It's not up to you to say whose the sharpest tool in the shed. As long as they can support themselves and are happy, there's nothing wrong with it.

People can choose to have a child at 20 and it doesn't mean they're stupid.

Not if they can afford to and are responsible enough.

What works for you doesn't mean it'll work for everyone so no need to be insulting

yes, I'm sure there are *plenty* of mensa members and oxbridge students that are student parents...
Wish I had your courage, if not for societal expectations and pressure on women, I might have done the same thing.

Is holding down a job difficult?

Do you have any figures or evidence for that statement?

Again no need to provoke anything by being insulting here.
