I'm using it to learn German and keep up my Spanish. I'd say it's pretty useful although I don't like the order in which they teach things at times. However, it's pretty fun and it's better than a lot of the other resources out there!

What language are you learning?

It's great, but I don't think you could learn a language from using this alone, I'd use it alongside other things like grammar practice and other exercises - like for German I use Deutsche Welle and have pen pals.

Duolinguo was a lifesaver for learning extra vocab for my Spanish AS Level this year! Although it's a bit too structured, it's helpful for supporting your studies and I find the website version even more useful than the app. Saying that, my app let me revise when I was bored and had five minutes to spare and helped me get more confident with fairly basic grammar points. Will definitely be using it during A2 as well!

When people ask me how I got an A in Spanish this year I honestly put it down to just doing a bit of extra vocab/grammar work using things like Duolingo.
