Oh awesome, are you driving or..? It's not far at all from Warwick, it's just so expensive to get a taxi back on your own to Warwick. What are you studying?

I'm hoping to be driving by Christmas fingers crossed. I'm going to go to some bits and bobs I think, buses don't run after 9 so bit rubbish. Hopefully we can find a group of Warwick commuters and share taxis. Feel free to drop me a private message anytime. X

Ah cool yeah I should mine back by January, yeah I'm the same I know I think the last train is like 11, ha yeah hopefully as a taxi I think would be about £20 so it would be good if there was a group of us. Ok cool thanks, you too x
I've just finished my first year at Coventry University, feel free to ask anything and I'll try answer.

For the record I study Marketing and I stayed at Sherbourne House for the first year.

The University Of Liverpool was my first choice last year but I missed out on getting in by 1 single mark on my Law paper (I'm literally talking 1 raw mark stopping me getting the ABB I needed!!). Was pretty unlucky to not be still accepted but I'm really glad I picked Coventry as my insurance as it is a really good, up and coming university (finished a lot higher than Liverpool in the recent Guardian table ironically) and the city is better than I expected it to be, plenty more socialising options than Milton Keynes (my hometown).

So yeah, hope you enjoy it. Don't worry too much about first year, you'll get the hang of everything after about a week and never look back!

Ive also finished my first year at Coventry. I'm currently reading Biomedical Science, and yes coventry is leap frogging league tables. Coventry is rated 51 in the complete university guide (a 7 place jump) from 2014. It is astonishing at the rate it is going.

I'm looking to apply to Coventry this yr to start in 2015! I was wondering what the nightlife at Coventry is like? This is the only thing I am concerned about bc of what I've heard (I'm from London). Where do you usually go ? Is the nightlife lively ??

Compared to London, it's obviously dead. A few of my friends are from London and they don't think much of the nightlife. However to someone like me from a smaller town/city, I think the nightlife is good. One thing we can both agree on is that it's cheaper in Coventry than London!

There's a number of places to go ranging from shisha bars to nightclubs. The main clubs are Hush (student one), JJ's, Carey's and Kasbah. I normally stick to JJ's and Kasbah because the music is more diverse (I'm into older music/indie music) but they all play a variety. Kasbah is the biggest club in the city, read that over 1,000 people are there every event night and on a Friday it gets pretty mental.

Whatever day you want to go out there's always something on. JJ's and Carey's specialise on Tuesday's but they're open Friday and Saturday too. Hush do events Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while Kasbah does Monday, Friday and Saturday.

Personally I find JJ's on Tuesday and Kasbah on Friday more than adequate in terms of weekly going out.
