Truth is relative.
Should have changed degree in first year. I did really bad in thought it was because I didnt revise hard enough but looking back a clear trend I much better in the social science modules

Just work out how well you wanna do in your first year and act accordingly man. It should be a fun year first and foremost imo

attend workshops which affect your grade
don't be sick on campus security
go out as much as you can and make friends with everyone you meet, you'll need them later on
Wish I hadn't gone! I rushed into a choice of degree I didn't want to get a career out of, at a university I had never visited before I moved there. It didn't end up well so I wish I'd just taken my time and did what was necessary to go and study what I really wanted to
I sort of wish I would have made a bit more an effort in first year to socialise. But it worked out well, as this led to meeting some great people in second year, so not sure if that's a mistake.

I definitely wish I would have worked harder in second year, as I did underachieve, but I did correct that in third year. Socially, I wish I was a bit more confident and forward, possibly have taken a few more chances/risks, and done things while I had the chance.

Not it isn't. Nonsense postmodern *******s, if I say that if I jump of a cliff ill get hurt it's not ****ing relative, its at the very least a highly probable event if not truth.

'' Nonsense postmodernism '' - quote by everyone who has little or no understanding of anything.

Are you talking about yourself? Truth is relative is the most stupid thing i've ever heard, you must be a complete moron (inb4 super philosopher who has studied Kant and or other pretentious thinkers like good old Derrida and thinks he is intelligent).

At least philosophers do something you know nothing about : thinking .
But I get it. You must be too busy enriching your culture by watching Big Brother and the World Cup.
Get over yourself
I'd have taken university much more seriously. Gone to every lecture, worked that bit harder on assignments and exam revision and not lapsed in first and to a lesser degree second year.

Hopefully I'll follow my own advise for third year, I need 65 for my 2'1.

You must be joking. I never watch Big Brother and there is nothing wrong with watching the World Cup. Football requires a lot of skill, more skill than you have in thinking certainly. If you wished to converse with me you would have explained on your 'truth is relative' garbage but instead you've just hidden. For one who claims to be a thinker you do little of it, you make ridiculous assumptions based on little more than (unfounded) belief in superiority (other people tell you you are superior, you do not declare it).

My advice: If you find yourself saying: I'll do it tommorow. STOP and do it now.

Pretty sure they used you and your belief that running after a ball like a moron is a brilliant skill as a case study for their psychology theory.

At least Kant had something to say and didn't rely on others' opinion to live his life like you do.
Must hurt .
taking the piss all through 1st year and having resits, im learning the hard way

also i regret not joining a sport at the start of the year because i dont think i'll have much time next year

You are unpleasant and (hopefully) trolling so i'm going to stop 'playing' (I have to speak to you like a child) with you.

Everyone relys (nice grammar idiot) on the opinions of others to live their lives, it's called imitation and it's very important for learning theory (you should look up learning disabilities because you have one). This is just another sign of how arrogant and intellectually bankrupt you are. Kant was remarkable I was simply stating that following his world-view like a dog on a lead (like you do to Derrida probably given how stupid your views are) is stupid.

So now I am the troll ?
Go play soccer or keep the drugs up because I think you swapped me and your reflex in the mirror while writing that.
Moron.

Every sports team i chatted to during freshers were just like "yea, we play but all the fun is on the nights out, yea, gotta come out and get wasted, give you a stupid nickname we can yell at you on the pitch. this is Slaggo, lol, great story behind that one". They were all just the classic "Lad-y jocks and i cba'd with that crap.

THIS.

I did hear that one or two of the others were alright but also saw a bunch of the initiations/other crap the rugby/hockey teams do which was just a mess.

We're totally not like that. We do give out nicknames sometimes but normally everyone just uses their name. And the limit of our drinking is a meal at the union bar after we shoot.

Which club? Guessing at Sussex from your sig...

The problem isn't really if they are like that or not it's what the person running the table at freshers week says and how they come across.
