That sucks. It stopped working on my laptop yesterday... I have windows 7! :O
There must be some way around it?

I just whipped out our copy and installed it and, apart from a couple of bugs, it seems to be fine (it runs at least) and that's on 8.1

That's strange, maybe it works best on older operating systems like Windows XP and has a tendency to crash more on newer systems.

Oh right, maybe it has something to do with my disc instead then? My laptop recognised that I inserted a disc but it wouldn't let me install it. I might try again later though as I would love to play the Sims 1 again :smile:
