I learned how to cook (by force may I add) when I was 17. My Hooyo was like, get your ass up in here gurl. You need to learn. Hooyo tried to get me to learn when I was 14/15 but I used to leg it constantly, but that time I had no choice.

I was on full on kitchen duty throughout Ramadan boo. It was disheartening and the said thing is that I don't eat my own food. Weird, I know. But I can only really eat food if someone else cooks
it.

TURN UP! TURN UP! To the invite tho

I'm very similar in the sense that I don't like eating my own food for some reason. I eat it anyway though

What can you cook?
Maan I tried to make canjeero last time and wallahi it didn't even look like canjeero by the time I was finished with the first one. Its was burnt to a crisp. I took a pic of it but too embarrassed to upload it here lmfaoo. my mum was like she had me at 19 and i'm the same age but can't even make canjeero :colondollar:

Make all the basics: Baasto, bariis, samboos, malawax, canjeero and tea (LOL!) Walla that is all we eat I think. Can't think of anything else tbh.

I don't know how to make lasagne (My sis makes them) but a couple of google searches and youtube clips and voila I can make it (insaAllah). No stress needed sis, we all make crispy canjeero/malawax. My cooking is all trial and error, so its all cool.

Same insaAllah. I don't actually think community is dead in UK since it is ever expanding, but it is a bloody depressing job don't ya think?
