Second most of AJ's suggestions - fire in:
Silver Spoon
Kyousogiga
Majestic Prince
Tonari no Seki-kun
Sekai Seifuku Bouryaku no Zvezda
Noucome
Servant x Service

I've picked up the odd series that are popular like Attack on Titans but I have much to catch up on :mmm: This 2 year back log of anime :afraid:

Where to begin :hmmmm: Are these all completed series? I think I might put ongoing stuff on hold until I've caught up :colone:

Also updating A-P profile :afraid:

At least this way you will only watch decent shows - I've been watching way too much crap given my obsession with watching everything every season!

All the one's I've mentioned are complete and are from the last few seasons :h:

I've somehow managed to keep my A-P & MAL accounts up-to-date while I was travelling - my anime OCD wouldn't let me forget about them! :giggle:
Decided to go with Saturn Apartments for my next manga series, can't go wrong with space. :p: Thanks again TroyAndAbed.

I'll take a look at these. Thank you AJ

I've actually just watched the latest episode of HxH. I've watched the original series and the OVA too  It's pretty much sums up why I love shounen

Ah yes, now I remember you mentioning it before. Still, better safe than sorry when it comes to a series like that, wouldn't want anyone who likes shounen to miss out on it. :p:
I second Noucome :awesome: saw the OVA the other day, that School Days reference :mmm:
It's Water Wednesday!!!
Free!s new episode is today *dies*
I don't speak any Japanese but I watched a live stream of the Free! episode anyway.
Right in the feels. ;-;
Hv started watching hunter x hunter
Didn't realise there is an anime thread here, though having tentacles in the thread title doesn't really help the opinion of people that see anime as hentai and tentacle porn.... lol

We didnt think about those kind of things way back when we were making these kind of threads regularly. Such "comedians" we were.:mmm:

That random person saying they were put off by the thrusting people was a great laugh.

Leeorio looks older than gons dad.:indiff:

Spoiler

A-P just added a small, but nice new feature - the loved/hated character list samples on homepages are now randomly selected each time you refresh the page, instead of it just showing the same six (i.e. the first ones on the lists in alphabetical order) each time. I think I'll have to make some drastic changes to my loved characters list, though... hardly remember who some of them are, so I can't have liked them THAT much. :p:
Watching Bakuman for the third time. I can;t think of anything else to watch:cry:

Awaiting on Ao Haru Ride episode 5:colone:

But... there are so many thousands of series out there! :zomg: Not that Bakuman and its sequels aren't worthy of being rewatched, but if you are interested in recommendations, let us know what kinds of series you like and I'm sure we'll be able to come up with something.

I like a wide variety and sometimes Bakuman gets really boring. I've just stepped onto watching the 17th episode of Baby Steps (Didn't know episode 17 was out :huff:)

I like a wide variety if I'm honest the recommendations that Aiko made on the beginners thread really were something.

I usually watch Romance, Psychological, Adventure

Yeah, that thread has got some fantastic recommendations. There's quite a lot there I should probably get around to watching myself (Toward the Terra, Inuyasha, Skip Beat! etc).

I'd suggest any of the following, if you haven't already seen them:

Last Exile

Zetsuen no Tempest

One Outs

Outlaw Star

Natsuyuki Rendezvous

I'll definitely check these out once I've checked out this Glasslip.. Never seen it before so I'm going to check it out

Never came across anime-planet, been watching all of my anime on animefreaks. :\

Thanks for the links as well
Hi, I'm new to watching anime so pardon my lack of knowledge.

The only anime I've watched so far is Durarara!! and despite the popularity of the show I can't seem to find anyone else who's watched it. :dontknow: Love it though. :ahee:

I'm mainly a J-Drama and K-Drama watcher but I want to get into more anime so if people could give me some recommendations of anime to watch, that'd be great.

I've also watched many Ghibli films (The Cat Returns, Spritied Away, My Neighbour Totoro, Ponyo)

Never heard of the show, although some of the wallpapers look cool, if I get time I might check out some episodes.

Personally the first anime I watched was Deathnote:ahee:

You might want to check out Beginner's Guide to Anime. There's some really good recommendations on there

It's only the best anime ever. Well, I only say that since I have nothing to compare it with.

I've only watched all 3 of the Death Note films, not read the manga nor have I watched the anime though I want to.

The link doesn't work.
