Yes. Because everybody who doesn't go to university is ****ed.

No, but do it as soon as possible. My personal statement had about 30 attempts before it was even acceptable. That takes absoluely forever and is incredibly important. The longer you take to start, the longer it will be before you're ready and the more stressed you will be.

If you're applying for Oxford/Cambridge/Medicine/VetScience/dentistry then it needs to be October 15th and for any other courses or unis it's 15th January latest.

Not long, like a week if you have all the information to hand.

O.o you do realise you will have to apply through clearing vacancies this late? The process can take a while, and from what I recall you need a reference, Doob. Parts of it are pretty straightfroward, but some of it can take a while to get through.

I hope you get it done quickly and get yourself a last minute minute place.

Hey,

You cannot apply through clearing until you have a clearing number, and you can only get this once you have filled in your application, so you will need to get this done ASAP.

When it comes to clearing, the 2 most important things are, obviously, your results but your personal statement is really important too. MAke sure you tailor it to the type of course you are applying for. Try to avoid the cliches, try and be original and keep it to the point, no rambling!

A level results come out on Thursday and anyone who has not got a place will be in the same boat as you, I would just get started today.

The application aren't opened till September, there's really no need to rush it, but it would be better to start now to save up time for then.
