Yes you may. Just sign up for the AS component ONLY.

If I did badly the second time around (say if i sit in november) then do they use my better grade for the award? (so I still get B?).Thank you!

Yes they take the better one.
Does anyone know the deadline for asking for a remark and a photocopy of the exam?

Actually, you cannot just sit the AS. You cannot combine your new AS result to the old A2 result. :frown:

Did they change policies?

It has always been this way for CIE  I know this system well because all we ever do for A-level in New Zealand is CIE. You can resit A2, but it has to be less than a year after you sat AS. But if you choose to resit AS, you have to sit A2 again!
Hi Everyone!

Congrats on getting your results today! :woo:

Want to come over to the official CIE Results day 2014 thread?

:yep:

Hey, you sure you can resit a2 on its own?

What I fail to understand is how I can get an A* in Chemistry, whilst doing the whole A Level in 1 year, yet get a B in Physics A2 - which resulted in a B overall
