Hmmm, I'm burning through NCIS right now (got till season 7 (have watched a few episodes of the new season too, skipped 1 (I don't really like it)) and I've noticed a few things I haven't before as well as solidifying some things:
- Season 2 had the darkest cases.
- Season 3 is the best character based season, it has an episode based around each of the characters I believe.
- Season 4 is the most romantic although the worst season if you like TIVA.
- Season 5 although a little inconsistent and short, is for whatever reason my favourite season to go to if I want to watch NCIS.
- Season 6 drops off in form bar Heartland and the final 4 episodes (possibly one or two in between). Gutted Deeks in NCIS LA came in late season one and DiNozzo wasn't there in the crossover, it would have been epic seeing them together.
- Season 7 is better than 6 with some fantastic episodes e.g. the first four episodes.
- Season 6 and 7 doesn't have the same gripping cases like season 5 and before.
- I personally prefer director Vance to Shepard as he's more humorous and understands what the heck he is on about.
- Although I like all characters, Abby is still my least favourite regular character.
- Jimmy Palmer can be just as funny as DiNozzo.
- Fornell is underrated in terms of humour.
- The new girl (Bishop) is great, I like her.
I'm probably going to watch the remainder of the seasons in due time, I'm going to burn through NCIS: LA seasons 2 and 3 first though...can't be dealing with the first season.
