How to do a simple factorising question.

I'm stuck on a simple factorising question. Please help me!

Factorise:
1) 4a^2+6a+8
2) 8ab^2+2ab-4a^2b

If you could tell me how to do the first question that would be great.

In both cases take out he common factor(s) and then see what's left.

2(...........)

2ab(..........)

Can you factorise what's left in the brackets?

You need to appreciate people start from different places. MeZala should be applauded for trying to get up to speed during the holidays.
