Anyone Else In Love With Another Country/Culture?

I'm a proud Brit, but I'm totally obsessed with Germany too  The language, the culture, the food, the men, everything XD.

How about you guys? Got any other countries you're dying to visit/work in/explore more?

It's amazing, isn't it? Have you ever visited?

I need to start watching more anime... At the moment, all I've seen is Hetalia (mostly for the yaoi :perv:)

Same here (I'm learning German, hoping to visit the Christmas Market this year). I get lady-feels whenever I hear a guy speak in a German accent, though, which slows my learning somewhat

Oooh, he's pretty fine for an anime character! :colondollar:

Oh Gawd yes. You wouldn't have to learn another language either.

Any particular place in the US you like?

Nope I love it all.

I love the big cities of New York and Chicago, the laid back SoCal. The deserts, the mountains, Hawaii, Alaska. The Deep South, New England and the Midwest. I would love to spend a decade just travelling round there.
I'm also British but I am absolutely OBSESSED with everything about Japan :h:
Belgium.

South Korea
China, Korea and Japan.

Though I usually hesitate to mention the latter because "I like Japan" is quickly becoming synonymous with "I'm an obnoxious anime-obsessed twit who doesn't know the first thing about the country."

I'm infatuated with japenese culture. I'm trying to learn the language over the summer break so when I go over there I'll understand everything.

Impressive Japanese :h: I can read hiragana and katakana but that's about it atm, so some of that I recognise
you probably dont want to go to japan now. they have a right wing government in power now.
