Invited to a bbq and "fun in the house" tomorrow

A cute girl i work with invited the whole office to a bbq at her place tomorrow. I got her number and said id be there but right now im getting cold feet. I keep thinking of the worst that'll happen such as be embarrassed publicly in front of everyone.

I don't wanna come off like an arrogant cock by not showing up esp after i said i would and her giving me her number directly. I have a little crush on her but i don't feel confident in pursuing it nor hanging out with other people.

You have two options:

1) go and socialise and have a good time if you can, or

2) make up some excuse like you had a family emergency and don't go.

I would go with 1.

OP did she say "fun in the house" only to you? If so you should definitely go. Even if she didn't you should go because there's no adequate reason for missing a BBQ.
