I don't even think Oxford will accept candidates who study a-levels over the course of 3 years.

I didn't
In which subjects did you get those grades, and what did you get at AS level? Did you apply to university after AS like most people, and if so, to which universities did you apply?

Then how did you get unconditional offers if you applied prior to getting your A2 results? You aren't making much sense.

I should be one if I got these grades...

I applied after my AS in 2013. Received offers from the universities and got into Oxford.

Ahh cool, I got the same  but I'll be off to Cambridge instead.

My question is why'd you choose Oxford over Cambridge?

Conditional offers on the basis of obtaining a certain amount of grades.*

You can't get an unconditional offer if you're in year 13.

Shut up with your BTECs.

Slightly misleading OP, then.

Clearly, he/she didn't. Only way you'd get unconditionals from them is if you already had the results in the bag.

Then how come your offers were unconditional assuming you didn't even begin your A2s?

You can't apply for both and it really didn't bother me on which I chose as they both require similar entry requirements.
