Similar choices and I agree.

You've done really well in the space of 2/3 years to be in that place! Congrats. ^_^

Every country apparently has their own International Award, it all started from Duke Of Edinburgh though, I'm doing Cricket (Physical), Piano (i'm still not too sure, whether I should or not) & Hong Kong Parliamentary Debating Society Coaching 10-12 year olds (volunteering)

Thanks Mr...! I haven't been anywhere, I was just away because of this Debating tournament w+ Economics Workshop in HK University for which I dedicated most of the week to and prioritising studying as 2nd and I had completely lost my social life ._. Sorry that I didn't inform anyone though! :P

:hugs: It's ok

How was the tournament ?

The tournament was for Local Schools really and Chinese debaters ranked below #100 (All Hong Kong Debating Championship rank), Our school is British + International therefore our school wasn't allowed for the HKPDS, so we made an individuals team (Name: Team India lol) we ranked 9th place out of 30, Each speaker had to speak for 8 minutes with only a single cue card and reply speech had to be 4 minutes.

Our final motion before we got knocked out by Hong Kong Official Team was 'This house Regrets the continuation of NATO after the dissolution of the Soviet Union' , we were affirmative side but our points were too weak compared to theirs and therefore lost the debate  after round 6. It was really fun wearing a Suit after so long though! :P
Thanks a lot guys! I really appreciate the warm welcome back <3

Yes. Which colour have you ordered?

It went well, there were loads of ideas and so we had to interconnect them accordingly which was initially quite difficult.

The name is going to be Inspire Me.

We have developed a layout, so it's looking rather promising.

Thanks a loot Karma! Really! We're starting ours in October :c I wanna finish it before year 11 so that I have Bronze out of the way from Mocks

Oh and Karma... England beat India 3-1 in Test Cricket, they embarass India for one of the first times and strip them off from #1 in Test Cricket, its the only sport England is doing exceptionally well in :P Rounders is sheeettt. Just kidding haha, Its fun to play but I just can't play Rounders competitively lol. I'm just not sure whether I should do an instrument or something else as a skill ://

Hello to the old faces and new ones!

Sounds fun...
9th place is actually very good considering how many people you were competing against :congrats:
I am doing a few debating tournaments at universities but I am not doing them with school so most of them are not team debating

Thanks Mr... :bhangra::bhangra:

Its great that you're doing debating tournaments , Singular debating makes you more independent and you become stronger in impromptu, so I have high respect for singular debating competitors since for us team debaters, we rely on the information and facts, each one of us use so that we can use them while rebutting, Good job! :3 You should watch LSE 2012 Grand Finale, its damn funny haha

Why thank you for your gracious offer - and I will accept!

I'm doing Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology for A Level.

I'm very nervous as the Grade Boundaries for science have risen quite dramatically :frown:
