Oxford,Durham, UCL and LSE for Law with French Law

Geology sounds really interesting :yep:

Same here for me, nearly!

Oxford, Durham, LSE, UCL or KCL and then a reserve choice.

I live in London, so I'd probably want to leave for uni, I'm too used to it...

Specifically a EU/Corporate Barrister  I like to call myself am "Active Debator :mmm:" I think I hopefully get into Oxford if I work hard enough

Also, similar to me. Hopefully, we can both meet at Oxford (Brasenose) if we work hard! I would like to specialise as a Corporate/Banking Lawyer or Barrister(I am still unsure of whether to become a solicitor or barrister). Anyway, I would study the "normal" Law LLB.

There are loads of people on this thread who love Mathsy/Sciencey subjects. I feel so alone :getmecoat:

I've noticed that. Is this the case with the forum in general?

I live up north, but I love big, busy, bustling cities. I've always wanted to go to New York, and I love London as well. Even though, Durham University is extremely close to home, it is regarded highly for Law and it is a beautiful city.

I'd just like to go to a smaller city like Bath, Bristol, Nottingham, Cardiff etc.

Do you want to do straight Law or course 2...

Oxford only do BAs I think :yep:
Hopefully we do meet, imagine if the spots narrow down to us and they're judging out applications against each other :yikes:

PLOT TWIST: You both get half the degree, by studying part time!!!

Straight Law, for me.

Yes, you are correct, Oxford only offers a BA in Jurisprudence, which is still classified as a qualifying Law degree. I know, I would still be happy if I got rejected and got a place at Durham, LSE, UCL or KCL.

Sorry buddy, but you're a Science person. Good for you
Gosh, you all know a lot about universities and stuff. But don't you think it's a bit too early? :/

I'm an Artistic Scientist, at-least that's what I aspire to be. The Art of Science makes Science much more fun for those us who enjoy Mathematical Science though also have quite a creative side.

It's okay! Haha... They are all based around my interests - finance, maths, and literature.
