Still go out, make friends. Just explain to them that it's against your religious beliefs to drink.

I'm doing Law/ LLB (Hons) :smile: you?

And I considered moving out but I think I'll stay at home (for my first year anyway) and maybe move out in second/third year. How about you?

I'm doing biomed and I'm staying in private halls with another Muslim girl so shouldn't be so bad for me :smile:

So u must live in Liverpool or pretty close by if ur choosing to stay home ?

Me too! Medical student living at crown place. I'm sure they'll be a mix of muslim students that do go out during freshers and that don't. There's other events that don't involve clubbing etc if that's what you're not wanting to participate in. Go to the fair, join some societies , meet people!

There'll be the isoc too if that floats your boat.
