Could you go on a weekday?

Have you got a list already written?

Posted from TSR Mobile

My mum is taking me and saturday is the only day she could do as she works away on the rest of the week and the sunday we go to Church.

I've not written a list I'm not entirely sure what I need because university doesn't provide anything at all for the kitchen or bathroom apart from the obvious stuff but no pots or pans or anything like that

I FINALLY PASSED OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH!! I can go back to uni! Eeekkkkkk

I've been good thanks. My job is pretty interesting and I've got to do cool things like shadow a mental health act assessment and go to court to get a warrant.

Ooooo sounds interesting. Happy belated birthday! Dbs checks are the worst! Mine always take ages to come back (thanks to me being unwell...). What's your volunteering doing? Are you still looking at joining the world of occupational therapy?

Yeah we are both doing a lot better now. And holly the cat says hi!

WOO

That does sound pretty cool. :yy:

Thanks! Yeah, my DBS has taken going on 2 months... :grumble: It's going to be working in a rehab centre for people not quite ready to come out of hospital, and I'll be helping with craft groups and stuff. And yep, been going to open days and stuff, still feeling committed to the idea and stuff.

Aww, pet the kitty for me! :emog:

Oh right.

Well kitchen:
Pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, knifes, utensils, cheese grater, chopping board, potato peeler, jug, washing up liquid, tea towels, tuppawear boxes
Possibly kettle, toaster, toastie maker

Bathroom: towels, toiletries, soap, loo roll, possibly a towel to go on the floor...

To add to PandaWho's list I would recommend:

1 frying pan
1 small saucepan preferably with lid
1 large saucepan with lid
2 plates
2 bowls
4 forks (these tend to go walkies)
2 dinner knives
4 table spoons (ditto)
4 tea spoons
large knife
medium knife
paring knife
2 wooden spoons
sponges for washing up
those green pads for removing tough debris when washing up
its friday night!

and I'm in bed cuddling a teddy bear.

Can I apply for ridiculous ambitious jobs? :afraid:

Finally got round to looking at the email I got (months ago :colondollar: ) from the RHUL disability office. They have a UniStart programme where people who are eligible can have tours and talks at the campus, etc. a week before Welcome Week. SO relieved! I am ****ting myself about starting in a new place. Just hope postgraduates are allowed to join in! I've emailed them to ask :colondollar:

What is "being human"? What is "normal"? Both overrated labels, methinks.

I had a huge teddy bear from Ikea when I was younger. I called it

*drumroll*

Ted

See, we're just as cool and choosy with teddy names as each other :five:
