Cavani wanted to leave PSG, I'm sure he would have taken a pay cut of some sort. I heard he was on around £140k at PSG anyway, Ozil and Sanchez are on that.

It's not just transfer feels, until we start paying world class players world class money we will forever be 4th. The structure we have is ridiculous anyway. This socialist structure of everyone having similar is terrible because you end up with mugs like Chamakh and Bendtner only a couple £10ks away from the better players when in reality they shouldn't be anywhere near that. Most other clubs don't have such a idiotic system in place, their best players get top dollars and the rest don't.

Oh yeah the players are on 100k a week, much Socialist, many Communist... kmt most ridiculous statement you've made yet.

Chamakh and Bendtner were on 60k max so 80k less than Ozil or Sanchez...

Cavani's a difficult one because we have too many OK strikers, we need to have another clearout and bring in real class I'll agree with you on that.

Too maany squad players atm

Don't get caught up in the hype, over the next few hours we could be linked with a number of player. These ITKs are selling you a dream.

Are you genuinely saying you would have been happy for Wenger to throw our wage structure out the window and give Falcao £350k a week or Cavani £200k a week, because to compete with United that's what we would have to do and frankly I'm glad we haven't tried to match their crazy wages

lol the fees and wages are crazy but fans don't really care about that stuff as long as the football is good and the club doesn't go bankrupt.

LOL, true, maybe I''m just more of a realist than others who would much rather just blame the manager for keeping the team out of debt
Arsenal looking to sign Huntelaar. Solid striker tbh.

No. It's well known that Arsene doesn't like having too much disparity between the top and bottom earners. That is what I meant, everyone earns a similar wage so keep the harmony in the squad. It's changed maybe within the last season but it's still an issue.

I was referring to when we had the likes of RVP, Cesc and Nasri. Robin was on around £90k and the max we offered him to stay was£140k meaning United offered nearly double that. Chamakh was on around £70k. Could you imagine how that would feel?! You are carrying the team and the mug who is doing nothing is not that far off in terms of wages. WC players demand WC wages.

We are getting blown out of the water in terms of players and there wages, we cannot get the top players until we pay the top wages. We need to up our game on that front.

We have the cash, we wouldn't go into administration if we signed one player on £170k-£190k a week.

And it's 2 players. I'm not saying spend £500m on a new starting XI with them all on £200k a week.

But persist with this idea that we are some poverty club would can't pay big wages.

For that to be possible we need to get rid of deadwood that seems to have piled up, you seem to think we have unlimited funds even paying say 3 players 100k more a week, thats 16mil a year and on 4 year deals that's 60mil, half our precious money fund gone, JUST on wages alone.

You need to be more realistic, we don't have a sugar daddy or insanely high financial dealings like Real or Barca

You're talking about 3 or 4 players though, CDM, CB ST and potentially a winger

Falcao on almost 350k a week. Utd have no shame

Well that's not true.

Probably not till 2018 when Giroud turns 31
Arsenal are the biggest laughing stock in world football.
As long as Arsene Wenger is at Arsenal they will never come close to winning the league
