Thanks a lot Karma!!! I am very satisfied with these results, I hardly studied over the summer, just 2-3 hours a day! I was expecting 1 A* which is just for Maths :P, these results hardly matter though. But its satisfying to know where I currently stand since we hardly had any end of year tests :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
But i'm still worried what i'm going to do when i'm done with IB, UK is too costly for international students since both of my siblings are studying there as international students in prestigous universities, so i'm pretty sure I can't afford a US/UK university and Hong Kong University of Science & Tech isn't very welcoming for non-chinese students. I have no idea what to make off with my future, Should I take a student loan? ://

You've done really well and 2-3hrs is quite a lot actually well for Year 9 anyway! Thy better give you Triple science now. :colonhash: What's happening with that btw?

I think most people will take student loans!
You need to relax a bit (hypocritical I know ), you need to focus a lot on now. That's what I've been telling myself anyway because if you don't the grades you want... your life won't be over but you might not get to where you want to be.

Keep working towards what you want achieve by the end of Year 11. Thinking early is great but don't frazzle yourself! Discuss with your parents and siblings maybe? Start looking at ideas/advice for international students or threads on here and ask for some advice? Hope this helps!

Hi I'm karmacrunch and welcome to :tsr:!

I'm taking German and Geography too! Do you know which boards?

A lot of us have started and it's fine, just new timetables and groups. + obviously hard work etc.

I'm sure that history will be fine for you. We have a lot of people doing GCSE History but I don't know of anyone doing the iGCSE. Ask if you need help though and we'll try our best to help!

Welcome again!

Thanks Karma  As usual you come with the most decent advice  We've already had a month of school, I confronted my teacher about the double/tri science thing and she said the sets haven't even been chosen yet, everyones been put randomly and it'll change later, I hope this is true! I want an extra GCSE :P
