Yeah that'd be good although I'm pretty sure a few of mine won't even look at the applications till after the jan deadline ergh

My school still needs to check my ps so I'll be having a few meetings about that before I can send mine off

You will  lol

I know early applicants do get offers quite early from other unis

Urmmm... Of 120 ish

From what I know we have around. I actually don't know after results

I know we have 4 definite Cambridge, and another Oxford maybe (non medics) so I'd say 10 max non medicine Oxbridge
Medics I think there are quite a few. Two vet med... Maybe 10 normal

I'd say a good 20 then

I Googled... Unis can make offers from September!

Hmm I hope so, last year some of the people in the year above had all of their offers by the end of November so it'd be nice if I got at least one offer

Ah that's not bad I think 20% of my year are early applicants but it's quite a small group so it's fewer than your school if that makes sense, half Oxbridge and half vet/med so that's not too bad. Although another fifth of my year are having a gap year which I can't imagine my school will be impressed by

Have you decided on all your universities or are you going to add some later?

Oh that'd be so nice to have

Yeah makes sense. Higher proportion. Less raw

Ooooooh, I wonder how they'll react. I think majority think gap years are this amazing fun travelling year

We were allowed two hours a week in year 13, and none in year 12. I worked better in school, but I have to agree it was ridiculous especially since they wouldn't let anyone in the common room in lesson time and there were never any free rooms except the library, which could seat about 30. Then they decided to refurbish the library and we couldn't even go in there any more :unimpressed:

That's pretty much exactly how it is now in my school! It's completely ridiculous, there just isn't enough space for everyone to study in school. Plus, it's always really noisy and disruptive.
