Balancing equations

Can someone help me with the following question I am normally good at balancing but this one has put me off

Zn(s)+HNO3(aq) ------> Zn(NO3)2(aq) + H2O(I)+NO2(g)

I tried balancing the nitrogen's first but then there were too few Hydrogen's.

Any help would be appreciated :smile:

mm I have done it now also need 2 on the water and NO2.
Is there a trick for these or is just trial and error?

http://www.chembuddy.com/?left=balancing-stoichiometry&right=algebraic-method that's very long winded for a one marker but it ensures you'll get it right. Sometimes, trial and error is much quicker
