Would you judge someone by their name?

Is it actually possible not to judge, even a little?

What do you think?

e.g Oliver vs Tyler

What?

I'd judge the parents.

Why do you think parents of different classes prefer different names?

What?

Before I used to, but not intentionally.

After watching Katie Hopkins's ridiculous argument over judging a child from it's name, I'm against it. I really don't think a name should define a person, at the end of the day they never asked for it. I went to school with people who have names that some people consider as "ghetto" yet these kids came out with A grades and are off to university, while the "Anna"'s and "William"'s didn't do so well. I'm just using those as examples. So yeah, I think people shouldn't judge from a name.
Honestly, I'd probably draw a different first impression from Crystal than Emma. I wouldn't do it purposely, but I don't think I'd be able to stop myself making a snap judgement. It's very hard not to.

If I don't judge somebody by appearance than why would I judge them by a name?

Because they do? I don't have stats, but I bet you that there are more working class Chantelles and middle-class Henrys.

I was just looking for your opinion not a definitive answer.

This tbh. I wouldn't think any less of them, but different names give off different impressions.
It's possible
Actually Henry is the most popular name in the UK FYI.
