DB is division specific, so they have spring weeks in markets (aka sales and trading, securities), Corpprate finance (aka IBD) and GTB, you should probably look this up, it's a very interesting MO role

Ah thanks!

Probably explains why DB have a S/W in this division: http://news.efinancialcareers.com/uk-en/113652/20-pay-increases-and-multiple-offers-maybe-you-shouldnt-ignore-this-area-of-banking-any-longer/

http://www.euromoney.com/Article/3278947/Transaction-banking-gains-allure-as-opportunities-abound.html

DB is very strong in this area, but it seems an incredibly relaxed environment (GTB guys still go for drinks at lunch, finish before 6, etc.)

How do you rate that site (efinancialcareers) when it comes to reliability and authenticiy?

I always see it on google and wonder this a lot - a name like 'efinancialcareers' doesn't exactly sound legit but it always comes up really high on google

It has some really interesting statistics, which don't exactly correspond to the general consensus regarding IB at times.

To be honest, I'm not certain. They often quote legit people, though.

I would trust euromoney, though.

Are all applications for spring weeks open? I can't find applications JP Morgan, RBC, BNPP, Rothschild.

JPM isn't open yet; I don't know about the others, but I'd assume they're not open yet either

JP Morgan : http://careers.jpmorgan.com/student/jpmorgan/careers/winningwomen/europe/industry - Just the winning womens event
BNPP and Rothschild aren't open yet.

Not sure what RBC is though? :colondollar: unless you meant RBS https://www.rbsbankyoubuild.com/interns/spring-week

RBC is the Royal Bank of Canada. I don't think they do a Spring Week programme

This isn't the chat forum, so you'll have to PM me - however, Robbie and I aren't friends, lets not derail the thread.

Oh, okay! Have never heard of it aha, thanks  (+1)
Rothschild has been open since last week. Only fill in the location for the programme in the search engine.

I also did the BAML numerical and now I got to enter additional details (CV competency and stuff), does this really mean I passed the test? I highly doubt as I guessed like 5 questions and i'm also not sure if a couple others were correct, so if it doesn't mean anything I'd rather not waste my time completing these.

http://scr.hu/2wt9/mc4cz for BAML. It might be different for SW, but not sure what the point would be?
