ask yourself who's more free, the guy pulling up to the lights in the Benz, unable to afford that Louis Vuitton he wants because he has to have it, but cant afford it because after he pays rent, he barely makes anything; or the homeless guy who sits and watches.

So your deep observation is that we're all just slaves who get paid rather than abused? It's called employment, get used to it.

life is slavery. Even if you were the only man on earth, you'd still have to work to feed, house and clothe yourself.

Yeezy was submitting those leather jogger designs since 06 to Fendi, and they kept rejecting them. Look how big they are now.
You can only get so far in life, before a rich white man says 'nope, I dont want you going further'. Look at the whole Donald Sterling exposure, they can do what they want behind closed doors and get away with it.
Kind of trivialised what slaves go through though, doesn't it. I mean, we actually have real slaves still even in the UK.

By working together and utilising job specialisation, we are able to produce (and hence consume) more than we would be working separately.

If you want nice cotton clothes, someone has to pick the cotton.

Who said you have to buy diamond engagement rings?

Then what do you want to do? Go on holiday because we all do that already

I have no idea what you're chatting about.

If you think work is slavery, don't get a job. Support yourself through other means. Grow your own food. Knit your own clothes.

go on holiday? what does that achieve? that's like suggesting to an 1800s slave, go to sleep at night, as if it some kind of comfort.
Nobody is a slave if they don't want to be. Obviously they are some unavoidable aspects like needing money but if you want to be free and enjoy life, you can. Not everybody slaves away doing a 9-5 just to pay the bills.
