As a Cambridge student myself I sometimes doubt that they take the very best. The ability to perform in exams and at interview doesn't make you better than others.

They also take into account essays that you send off, entrance tests, amongst other things. They take the best students they can; the system isn't perfect after all.

I suffer from psychosis but that's one things that's never happened to me. I've believed (and still believe to an extent) that certain people can plant thoughts in my head, but that's the closest I get to what you've described :console:

Can definitely relate with being bad with criticism - you should see how upset I can get sometimes with in-game chat in games (:facepalm:) :redface: Sorry for not being more specific-y/focused on that post, I was a bit aggressive possibly. (If that made any sense :colondollar:)

I am elitist, yes. So is Cambridge University. They take the very best students. They specialise in many fields and come top in most of them. So... Some universities are better than others. It should be impressive that I go to Cambridge; most aren't capable enough to go there. A*A*A* at A Level is quite the achievement too even when regarding the calibre of student there.

I've thought that a few times. Particularly in crowded places. It's a really horrible feeling. When things are going badly for me I often lose track of thoughts and it seems to me like someone has taken them out of my head which is also extremely worrying to me.

Are you on any medication? It could be that you require it adjusting.
