I think it's also a matter of society changing, like mentioned that thousands of years ago, what some consider 'ugly' were perhaps the finest of the time back then. But as society changes, fashions go in and out, sure that is why we find x attractive and y ugly. Our perception of beauty has changed? Just a thought though

To be perfectly honest if I where you I wouldn't label people as "ugly" you never know in the future you could have kids that turn out to be ugly /deformed cause you attract and bring about what you most think of !! Hence your strong thoughts towards ugly" will only gravitate negativity towards you.

So start being positive and maybe just maybe you'll see that having a good heart means more then a pretty face.

Because believe it or not, there's more to attraction than looks, so "ugly" people still have partners and have kids.
But more scientifically, the complication with your theory is that what is considered attractive and ugly changes very quickly and is considerably different in different cultures. Evolution is a very slow process, the rate at which things considered attractive changes is fast. So evolution might go ahead and just about eradicate something we consider ugly when suddenly society changes and we consider that thing to be attractive. So this gene would increase again, and it goes on like this. Basically: evolution can't keep up with a changing society

Well obviously beauty is a dominant/recessive trait where the dominant gene is beauty and the recessive gene is ugly. Ugly people breeding together will definitely produce ugly children but beautiful people could produce ugly children if they are carries of the ugly trait. That is why there are still ugly people.

You are an idiot -_- This is not how it works at all and last time I'm checked, what you count as "ugly people" still find love and have children since everyone is beautiful to someone and some people do not just care about looks but care about personality too.
