Well that's okay  :console:
I suppose so...  I suppose so :colondollar: Wouldn't you rather be singing the nice melody? Though tbf harmonies are pretty darn cool too - and I wish I was better with picking out a third interval (if that's the term, it's been too long since I did proper music :colondollar:) when singing to songs/getting that harmony
Oh right! I suppose so  Luckily I think the choir I'm going to try to go to this year is super relaxed/not particularly proper I don't think  - the other choirs seemed to mostly do proper choral pieces and latin/old stuff, but this one I'm thinking of seems to do mostly actual songs/contemporary stuff!

Yeah I don't know :s-smilie: Yes I think so! Mostly just nice to have regular support/a regular outlet I hope - and yeah should be good to talk to others - though socialising outside of the group isn't allowed (between people in the group) - but yeah!

Oh okay, that's fair enough

:woo:

Hope today went okay :console: I hope your parents aren't too bad :frown:
:hugs:

Not sure, I just like trying to sing one of the others really, I pick out the harmonies when I'm listening to songs on the radio too or make them up! Yeah it's a third, usually. Good! I guess it depends what you want from it, some people will prefer the 'proper' stuff but I'd imagine it's much more normal just to want to sing something you know in a way that hopefully sounds nice with other people

Having a regular outlet sounds good :yep: Not sure about the not socialising bit though, well I guess it kind of makes sense but yeah :dontknow:

Will later if I feel a bit better, not sure, feel completely crap now although kind of expected that after yesterday :s-smilie: It wasn't too bad anyway which was good  Parents weren't either unusually, we just talked about other stuff and then I put my ipod on so I couldn't hear them :colondollar:

Afraid I don't have much advice about racing thoughts/concentration stuff other than seeing therapist - so well done for arranging that
Glad you managed final year okay/smoothly (it sounds? Well done on 2.1 :yep: ) though I'm sorry that things are getting a bit worse/odd now :s-smilie: :console:

Not sure that I've necessarily spoken before (have I? very sorry if not :s-smilie:) - so hi

Glad you're feeling more stable - is the meditation stuff you do like mindfulness? Was meant to start trying to do that daily or something, just to get into the habit of it/to be able to feel calmer quicker. :dontknow:

Brother let me rip his In Rainbows CD before I went back to Uni - will have to give it more of a listen soon - really enjoyed it so far.

Hi

I'm feeling a bit better about it now. At least I'm doing the right thing which proves I've learned since last time! The uni are going to sort me out with some therapy. They want me to make a GP appointment and I'm apprehensive about that. It's the first time I've seen a GP where I'm at uni and I'm never sure about their attitudes to MH stuff. Back home I have an amazing GP who was really helpful. I'm just apprehensive about medication, had a really bad experience last time around and it seems I always get the bad side effects (and not just for MH meds either).

The meditation I use is a guided one I found on Youtube. It mainly focuses on breathing and separating the bad thoughts from the bad feelings. It's really basic but it works brilliantly for me. It's technically one for depression but I find it's brilliant for bringing me down when I need to do as well as bringing me up when I feel depressed.

Just found out this girl I was seeing for the last few months has left me for someone new she only just met. We had such a great 'relationship' and she seemed to really like me. However, whilst I'm naturally feeling pretty depressed about it if someone finds someone new the minute they get back it obviously didn't mean anything. Also, and this may sound odd but in some ways it's a good thing, I find the depression easier to manage than when I get a bit manic so in some weird way it's good it's brought my mood down

That's true  Yeah tbf going up there in new smaller car was quite scary, but once you're there for a bit get used to it quite quickly? Motorway was scary once you properly thought about it - being in a massive box of metal hurtling along next to other boxes of metal  But you can ignore that :colondollar:

That's ages  Glad it's looking better  what?! That's ridiculous - 5 minutes early is like the perfect time to arrive for something
I found it didn't take too long - like a long evening/half day I guess? Hope it's gone okay - are you moving in this weekend? Haha :colondollar:

Not yet - yeah last year they did, but in a house now - we'll get one soon/once everyone gets here - though someone's dropped out!!! They failed their resits which is a shame  (hadn't even realised they had resits to do) so they're not back for next year which is sad :frown: He was a new person/someone we'd not properly met, apart from 2 times when he was deciding or something. But we're had the worst luck with it  There were 5 of us, then before we found a house someone said they were switching Uni's/reapplying, then when we signed a 4-bed house, the 4th person decided that they were changing Uni's, and now this person! :colondollar: Must be something about us :erm: :ninja:

Sandwich toasters are good - I think the person who's not here yet (but who is staying :colondollar:) has a george foreman grill thing - so will use that for toasties
*takes toaster* thanks

yeah, i mean i go at the speed limit, so if its a 50 then i go at 50, but i don't really like it very much! i try not to think about stuff like that cos it scares me :colondollar: i know! she didn't actually really say anything, but i saw them rolling their eyes whilst looking at the clock and asking the others why id come so early. I just sat there silently until my appointment anyway so i don't see what the problem was really :dontknow: it did actually really upset me though and i just wanted to go home :/ i packed everything in under an hour  all those years of girl guide camp and having to pack everything in small spaces compactly has come in handy haha! i move in tomorrow :')

ahah aw that's a shame! at least you hadn't become friends with them and then they'd left, that would have been worse  obviously you smell or something  (im totally kidding :colondollar:) will you get someone new then? i finished all my stationary shopping yaaaaaay! got so many pretty coloured and divided notebooks...and then there are the ****ty wilkinsons own ones   ah well, i'll keep those in my room so no one sees im a cheap skate :colondollar: my dad just shouted at me in the supermarket for wanting to buy vodka...i can hardly turn up to pre drinks and not have brought anything, or just drink everyone else's, that's not cool! The whole shop only cost £45 as well :unimpressed: how are you doing?
having a really hard time atm :frown: scared of my head and scared to tell anybody about it incase they tell the med school and i get chucked out :frown: don't know what to do any more, had to come to the library for the day cause i didn't know what would happen if i stayed in my room all day today :frown:

Thanks  Radiohead + Snow Patrol :woo:
Sorry anyway :colondollar:  I will reply to your reply from a couple days ago soon  if that's okay, sorry for taking a while :s-smilie: :hugs:

Do you have a favourite song or album of Radiohead and Snow Patrol? I haven't listened to every album yet but will eventually!

Don't apologise! There's no rush, plus I can't really complain considering my track record of replying quickly :colondollar:: Although I don't think you replied to my second last reply to you. If you did, sorry! It'd be great if there was a 'Who Quoted Me' list on the app because I often miss things until I use the desktop version :unimpressed:.

:hugs:

------------------------------------------------------------------

I've avoided the shuffle function on my mp3 player for so long and stuck to random playlists so I can avoid listening to stuff that makes me feel low/ cry but I used shuffle yesterday and the first song was one that can make me cry pretty easily but I still keep listening to it :sigh: :getmecoat:.
