Lucky!

When my teacher said that he'll probably be teaching S2 and other things I'm not doing, I joked "well I guess I'm not coming to lessons anymore".

He was like "the **** you aren't Oscar; you'll sit in a corner by yourself"

Oh so you have to sit on S2 lessons?

Not specifically S2 (he doesn't know what modules he'll teach yet since everyone wants to do different ones), I just don't get to skip lessons just because what's being taught is different to what I'm learning

hey  I do maths, geography and art, hoping to do geography at uni next September.

Maths and Geography? They sound extremely hard! I hope my AS results will allow me to gain offers quickly although my UCAS statement is a long and slow process :frown:

They're not too bad :P What subjects do you do? Were you pleased with your AS results?
Hey dudes
I take Physics, Maths and Geography.
Just wondering if anyone has had anything remarked or has funny remark stories as one of my papers went up 12UMS!!!! Lololol
The seventh draft of my personal statement is under 4000 characters! I'm so happy - especially since my third draft was over 8000 characters.

Now I have to really improve it because my college is making me have my application ready by Tuesday.
Almost done with my personal statement! I'm on the line limit but I need a closing paragraph, so hopefully I can remove some crap here or there.

I won't put in my application until I've visited Exeter though, so I've still got over a month to go.
I think I've finished my personal statement!

Woah ... did they miss out a question or something when they were marking it???
Back from Edinburgh's open day (nine hour overnight coach journey complete with screaming children and elderly woman snoring on your shoulder = not recommended) and it was ****ing brilliant  I haven't slept in more than 24 hours so I was planning to hibernate for the rest of the day but I'm not even tired (due to copious amounts of junk food no doubt. Also my friend and I got served eyyyyy) so I'm determined to finish my damn PS

What did you do?
My Personal statement has been sent off to another pair of eyes! In College we have a bunch of people who specialise in personal statements who look over them all before they are sent off and whatnot, so, woo ^-^

Sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep  (So much for 'not tired'.)

I flew out there yesterday morning, my first trip on a plane in seven years. I used to absolutely hate flying but this was really fun  We got there at around midday and I went on a coach to see their Easter Bush campus (the vet school) which was beautifullllll  It's so high tech and they have a really good exotics unit (in veterinary terms 'exotics' are essentially anything that's not a cat, dog, horse or farm animal. I have a big interest in reptiles, birds and small fluffy creatures so that's a huge bonus). When I came back to the main campus I went to a couple of talks in the lecture halls and went to a few stalls. After looking round the accommodation my friend and I got on random buses and just wandered around the city for a bit  Had the biggest pizza ever then ate an obscene amount of junk food  Tried Irn-Bru for the first time (seemed appropriate) and got some Scotch because 1. Scotland and 2. I am Barney Stinson (I actually liked it too  ). Coach home was delayed by an hour and there was a screaming baby so I got barely any sleep but I'm so glad I went now  Definitely going to apply there.

Nice; short flights are always great  Good luck applying.

University labs are always awesome to visit  What's Irn-Bru like? I recall trying it once but I don't remember the taste.

Were the talks taster lectures or talks on application/university admin sort of stuff?
