I am in year 11 too and I haven't even started revision yet 
Has any of you started and can you guys give me some tips on how to? I am so nervous about the English Language GCSE cause I find it so hard and I will be so happy with an A! Tips appreciated for English GCSE guys! Goood luck to all!

Goood luck to all!Make sure you do well in your controlled assessment for now, you just have to plan ahead for them at home using what you do in class to get top marks. I'm at 50/50 at the moment we just have creating writing left because we started in Y10, so I wouldn't worry much about the exam yet considering ELang isn't a syllabus you just revise from, you have to learn how to do each question individually before you sit a whole exam. There's not much to revise per se, but plan bit by bit at home, when your teacher tells you to write a paragraph do it in detail (chances are you'll end up using it in your CA!) and only if you do well in your controlled assessments will you set yourself up well for the exam!

I guess I like how it's logical and requires a bit more understanding than a lot of my other subjects in which it's just rote-learning. Also, all the pretty colours in experiments - I am the kind of person who gets easily bored and needs the 'activeness'.... Not the greatest reason but the most valid for me, in any case.
