Could have and should have had more than 15 reps for the AMRAP set. I set myself the target of 15 and smashed it easily, then just lost all motivation. Was really pissed off as soon as I racked the bar. Seriously think I could have had 20 reps.

Some guy came up at the end of my chins saying I should do a drop set for my lats to finish them off lol. I responded by informing him it was bicep work anyway and that his deadlift form was atrocious (it genuinely was - lumbar rounding all over the shop). He's that guy who deadlifts in gloves... then uses straps.

A "guy" I know deads in gloves and straps, and considers not using gloves and straps to be ego lifting. Not quite sure of the logic.... lols.

Couldn't train on thursday when I planned to DL and press, so combined them with squats today.

Press

Disappointed with this

Tiring.

155*13 is damn impressive! I hate high rep Deadlifts.

also, down to ~88kg (analogue scales so not as accurate).

Feeling a bit more defined, but also feel like have lost a bit of upper body strength :frown:

Hockey later so no lower body work. Was planning on doing this yesterday but was busy.
Yesterday was the start of my deload week. But nothing I've done yet was hard so **** it.

Did press/deadlift/rows/chins.

DL worked up to 200x2. fml lost so much strength. Thought I'd have had more given 155x13. Ah well.

Press did a few sets of 5 on 50. Fairly easy.

DB rows. 3x8 on 34kg.

Then did a few sets of climbing up a rope (no feet involved). Fun alternative to chins, good work on grip/biceps/back.

Practice heavy Deadlifts and they'll get better again quickly.

Pretty sure illidan_stormrage did the same program and had the same happen to his press ^^

Go heavy all day erry day.

Also 155*10 would give a 1rm of about 206 anyway so 155*13 isn't exactly that much better.
