Hi, I've recently found a passion in infectious diseases... And so I've decided I want to study it at Uni, but I can't find any providers other than University of Salford? I'm studying geography, biology and psychology. Does anyone have any ideas where I can find more providers of the course? (If there is any)

Kind regards, Ben
I'm not entirely sure what you're looking to study, but I'm assuming it's pathology related (the study and diagnosis of disease). Pathology is a component of pretty much every Biomedical/ Bioscience/ Healthcare Science/ Human Biology course, but some courses are more specialised. The University of Bristol does a variety of pathology-type courses (Pathology & Microbiology, Virology & Immunology, Medical Microbiology, etc), and many universities - Aberdeen, Aberystwyth, Cardiff, Dundee, Glasgow and Imperial to name a few - have Microbiology courses. Edinburgh has an Infectious Diseases course, and Strathclyde has a variety of Microbiology/ Virology combinations.
So there are lots of courses in that area, they just all have slightly different names! Look up 'Microbiology' on UCAS to get a better idea.

Yay jollygood, I didn't know microbiology was the study of diseases. Thanks a lot!
'Human biology and infectious diseases' but without sounding snobbish, I don't see myself going to Salford University.
I'm sure there are lots of similar courses! After a brief look... Edingburgh do BSc Infectious Diseases Liverpool do BSc Tropical Disease Biology Glasgow do BSc Virology Bristol do BSc Virology and Immunology or Pathology and Microbiology Warwick do BSc or MBio Medical Microbiology and Virology
Another good option would be to do Biomedical Sciences, and specialise - either with third year options or by doing a masters. Brunel University do a fantastic Biomedical Sciences course where you can choose to specialise in various topics in final year - including immunology.
You should have a browse on unistats.direct.gov.uk - it's a great website
