Is it incest if . . .

(This isn't about me by the way!)

There's this girl whose uncle (related) has a wife, whose nephew wants to go out with her. They share an uncle by marriage but are not actually related by blood.

So basically it's her Mum's brother and his Aunt's husband.

Call me dumb but I'm curious.

Yes, that's virtually full blown incest.

If they're not blood related it's not incest.
It's still a bit weird though.
No that's fine lulz

Maybe a bit weird for the family
Just ask your uncle's permission Edmin.

If I understand this correctly this is the girl's mother's (or father's) brother's wife's brother's (or sister's) son.

Strictly speaking the offence is not called incest any more.

If either party is under 18, the key questions are whether they live in the same household and whether one is responsible for the supervision of the other. If both of these are present, then a sexual relationship would be a crime, otherwise not.

If they are adults, then no problem

Moreover they would be able to marry (Part I lists the people who can't marry at all and parts II and III those who can marry in restricted circumstances)

Was a joke, I'm not actually suggesting you're into incest based on a few quotes of legislation.

So let's all be friends!

that is way too much problem solving to do it at 2:32 a.m.. Call me liberal but I feel if they are not related by blood then it is OK. I don't think I would do it but I don't think there's anything really wrong with it.if they love each other why shouldn't they be happy?
Not incest. Bit weird though.
