This is my first time doing the GAMSAT and have no idea how I've done lol.
No, did it in September so won't hear until mid Nov.
Very hard to know how you've got on. Particularly as it's scored against everyone else. I think my S3 may have let me down - the other sections seemed to go ok.
Does the medical sciences here allow you to transfer to med school?
They have a transfer scheme at the end of Year 1 but I think it's extremely difficult to get a place as only 10% can transfer, and it's quite a small year. So like 3/4 people max...

Ohh fair enough, I dont really know whether I want to apply for clinical sciences to transfer for medicine if I dont get in or to do chemical engineering I wanted to do engineering as a kid but decided on medicine in yr11 I obviously prefer medicine and have put to much effort to give up my medicine drea, but if I dont get in this year I dont know what to do.
Can you do graduate medicine with a chemical engineering degree?

Hmm, I'm probably not the right person to ask about that! But a lot of graduate medicine courses will take any degree, or at least any science-based degree so I would say that would be fine! But I'm not sure (big disclaimer ha). If I don't get the grades for med I'd be quite happy doing Medical Sciences as it seems like an awesome course…would maybe consider a law conversion or research if I couldn't get on to graduate med afterwards
Oh nice! I've tried to split it between exams ! so Exeter (ug) Kings Warwick UCL (ug)
How did you find GAMSAT?
Oh cool, that's a nice mix. It was my first time sitting the GAMSAT, found it rather daunting at first but wasn't too bad in the end. I liked section 2 although that was my weakest point I believe. Section 1 was ok, section 3 was pretty hard, I didn't like the physics.
How about you ? How did you do for UKCAT? My UKCAT was not so good so that's why I applied to only GAMSAT unis.

Same as me, if you substitute UCL for George's 4 year. I'm an arts grad with no science a-levels, so uni options are pretty limited.
Getting really impatient about the Gamsat. No idea how I've done. Could have gone either way. There wasn't as much assumed knowledge in the science section as I expected, and way more reading data/graphs than I thought there would be. Should have suited me more, but have a feeling I didn't take advantage. Would be happy to scrape a low 50 is S3, and then hopefully bump my score up with S1 and S2...But doesn't everyone say that?
