what are peoples thoughts on Cambridge vs lse?

I think both of these are on par with eachother it terms of reputation, quality of teaching, job prospects etc. the only pro I can see that LSE over Cambridge is that it's in London therefore you are bound to have more fun than you are than in Cambridge; In terms of clubs and bars and events LSE is 100x better. However, LSE being in LDN also means that it will be MUCH more expensive than cambridge!

It's funny how you cling to other Uni choices in desperation. I didn't even want to go to Warwick, now I would snap their hand off!

I meant for any lower unis in case it doesn't go to plan aha, I have a feeling a few aaa unis were in clearing last year, but I'm not 100% on that

Got AAAB at AS in Maths, Econ, History and FM.
Dropped FM, now predicted A*AA for A2
Applied on 07/10/14 for Economics at Cambridge, Warwick, Nottingham, Bristol and QMUL.
Currently got offers from Nottingham and Bristol (A*AA) and QMUL (AAA) :biggrin:

I got 8A* 3A at GCSE; AAAB in Maths, Further Maths, German and Economics ( 1 UMS off an A ) at AS; predicted A*AAA

I've applied:

Warwick - Accounting and Finance
LSE - Accounting and Finance
Bath - Accounting and Finance
UCL - Economics
Nottingham - Economics

Got an offer from Warwick AAA in less than 24 hours...Waiting on UCL and LSE...
