EY tend to close apps as soon as theyve filled up the positions for that role. It will probs open again in July/August after grads get their degrees, but that is a long time to wait

Yeah i only applied last week but heard nothing at all apart from getting an automated email saying they had received it :s-smilie:

Rang them up the other day and they said that they look at the applications after the deadline which is in november
Does anyone have a good list of management consulting firms?

I have a list of about 30 but finding it hard to find many others (that have London offices, anyway).

If you have 30 - that is probably the main list of consultancies.

To be honest, past 20 you are getting into much smaller consultancies and also very specialists.

Yes looking at smaller ones too. Just wondering if there are any good resources to find it all compiled instead of just Googling for a variety of searches to find them.

Is there anywhere to practice for EY's Strengths Assessment, and/or is practice necessary?

Is anyone still waiting to hear back from ibm after passing their assessment centre? It's been nearly 5 weeks for me!

Hi, I passed the assessment centre and interviews last week. Wow, 5 weeks is long. Do you know anyone who has been matched and been offered a role yet?

Just got an email/call from Capgemini saying that after yesterday's phone interview, I'm through to an Assessment Day on Thursday 30th. Hopefully I'll see some of you there and we can put faces to names!

Hi Sync,

Congratulations on your success so far! Can I just ask how long it took Capgemini to book your telephone interview? I was told I passed mine and that they would invite me for an interview over a week ago, and still haven't heard anything since.

Also, what questions did they ask you? Anything that caught you offguard?

Good luck!

When you say industry, what kind of questions did they ask about that?

Well done - I haven't heard of anyone receiving offers / final interviews yet no- did they give you an indication as to how long it would be?

No. Just said that the process could take a few weeks. And also mentioning that they're not promising me a job. Sob. So the job hunt continues :frown:

Do you mind sharing your list on here?
Does anyone with any experience/knowledge on the matter mind telling me how likely it is to get an interview from MBB if I come from a Russel Group uni? And how hard are the interview processes? I'm hearing MBB are worse than IB and any other ones around
Hi guys, I wanted some advice. I'm applying for a consulting role at McKinsey and I have selected 4 offices. In my cover letter do you think I should add my address on top right of page and the company office address in London on the left side of page, just like a letter or should I not write address as i am submitting it online. thanks

Does anyone have any experience with first round interviews at EY?

Hi guys, I have a quick question. On the PwC application form did anyone upload a CV? I forgot to upload a CV and their application form didn't prom me to do so either. Does upload a CV help or do they judge you by the response you give in application form??

I didn't see an option to upload one either. i am guessing because the application asks for everything a CV would have anyway

So impressed with Grant Thornton's recruitment process they're so quick and efficient. In just over a week I took the online tests, got told I passed and had to do a video interview and the next day got told I passed the video and they've booked in a feedback report already!

What role and what intake have you applied for, also when you pick the location and you have to provide 50 words as to what that is, what did you mention
