Ultracentrifugation help!

The question is a standard ultracentrifugation question.
It gives you a flow chart of ultracentrifugation and with the 3 pellet outcomes (as always) but it has labelled what each pellet is.
Pellet A- Nuclei
Pellet B- Mitochondria
Pellet C- Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum
& Supernatant D

1) Explaining your answer, which of the pellets (A,B,C) would be associated with the polymerisation of amino acids (2 marks)

Help!

Think of the function of each organelle and note that polymerisation of amino acid means 'putting together' or synthesising amino acids i.e. translation.

It's asking where this occurs basically.

You're welcome - whilst they may word questions unusually, it's always worth noting at this level, you will only be asked what you are generally taught so just take apart the question and use what you know! :cookie:
