when to put oil in hair

Should I put oil in my hair when it's wet, dry, or somewhere in between?

For styling, if you don't use heat(straightener or curler-) on your hair, then you can put it on when your hair is damp so it dries less frizzy
If you do use heat then use it on dry hair after you styled it.
You can put it on wet hair then blow dry but use a warm instead of hot setting.

If you want to use the oil as a hair treatment/mask put it on when it's dry :smile:

When it's not dripping wet, I put some on it when it's dry as well if I think my hair still looks dry. If I've straightened my hair then I always put it on when it's dry as well :smile:

Yeah, I hardly ever use heat though and I have quite oily hair naturally so I don't want to over do it
What Oil do you use?
Personally, I apply oil (that is, argan oil) to my hair when I've just washed and towel dried it, so that it's damp. I find applying oil when hair is dry make it become very greasy, and I soon have to wash it

I normally put it on when my hair is dry, leave it in overnight and wash it in the morning

My hair gets oily very fast, but i have curly hair so it can also look really dry at the ends. I only put oil in the mid to ends of my hair
