Best university to go to?

Because they are ex-polys, and are ranked in the top 1 million in the World rankings.

The one where there's part-time work available, enough clubs and pubs around so you can drink your misery of being an indebted underemployed graduate away, and where it's not back-breakingly expensive to live.

So basically, like, Newcastle.

I was thinking of applying for Salford to do Aeronautical engineering, I heard that Salford is a good uni to study this course. Have you got any advice about whether I should apply here or not & also what other uni's are good for this particular course.

Cambridge if you suck off Maths
Oxford if you get aroused from books
LSE if you want to have 42 Asian friends on your course
UCL if you want a less socially retarded version of LSE
Warwick if you like grass
Nottingham if you want to get shot
Bath if you like concrete
Exeter if you like Warwick and Bath but can't decide
York if you like concrete and bad weather
Manchester if you love Sherlock
KCL if you prefer the letter K over the letter U
Birmingham if you enjoy hearing coarse accents that encourage your ears to regurgitate

Nottingham as a city has improved a lot in the rankings. It is now the 20th most deprived city. In 2003 it was 4th. But as a student you stay at a lovely campus set in one of the UKs most prestigious universities. Nottingham built up a great name in the 90s, and remains the single most targeted UK university by the top 100 graduate firms.

Imperial College is the best for this course. Aim for a Russell Group university. Salford is better than ex-polys but worse than Russell Group unis.

I heard that Salford university is good to study but the place is horrible.. Any advice.

But no, to be totally honest, it genuinely depends. I would like to do Business & Management, and the best university for that (location, teaching, opportunities, job placement associates etc... considered) it is King's College London. Central, fully of placements and gap years to do at high ranking firms and very well regarded... A*AA entry requirements though :O which is relatively high for B&M

Is it a good university to study Aeronautical engineering? Or something engineering based.
