Argh getting worried reading these now. I'm applying to Nottingham, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield this week with A*AA predicted but I had 4A*s 3As and 3 Bs at GCSE and my AS performance was AABB. Seeing that Nottingham wants like 7A*s at GCSE is panicking me especially after I spent so long on perfecting my personal statement, dammit.


How do you know Nottingham want 7A*,
I applied there and I've not got 7A*
Got an offer from Leeds yesterday!!! AAA, or ABB which access Leeds

Don't worry, I applied last year with only 1A* at GCSE and still got an offer.

ICT lol!!

The stupid thing is that I got more A*s at A level than at GCSE.
Hi everyone I've applied to LSE and just wondering what chance I have of getting in.
My GCSEs are 11A*
AS levels: maths A (93%) ocr
Econs A (89%) ocr
Further maths A (83%) ocr
German A (80%) ocr
I'm predicted 3A* and 1 A (in further maths) my German teacher messed up my oral so that's why I was still predicted an A*
I have received a form from LSE asking me to fill in some further details such as unit grades.
Just interested to know if I have a reasonable chance of getting an offer or if it's unlikely with my current percentage marks. Many thanks!

Well 4 weeks should be enough time, I'm gonna crank it up not this weekend but the weekend after (I have family plans+an 18th I can't really miss) so it should be ok :smile:
